I guess everyone is finally seeing Shaq for what he is…a Manipulator. He is playing for his fourth team and out of those four teams, he has left three on bad terms. If he would have left just one team on bad terms we could probably say, HEY THAT SUCKS FOR HIM. HE DESERVES TO GET OUT. ANFERNEE “PENNY” HARDAWAY IS A BAD MAN. POOR SHAQ. We would listen to his sob stories of how Penny was such a bad teammate. After he left, he talked smack about everyone he could in the Lakers organization. But three teams are in disarray after his departure. Is this a coincidence? I’m beginning to think not.
Soon after arriving in the City of Angels, there was friction. Who was at fault? Some say Kobe, some say Shaq. Shaq likes to come off as a big ol’ kid all the while acting like one literally. Pouting and sniveling behind the scenes. We all know what Kobe is like. He has pretty much been the same since his arrival in LA. He’s the man and ain’t no one else better. Whether you are 7’ tall or 5’8, Kobe will not back down from anyone. Both characters are known for saying what is on their minds…Shaq is more colorful and Kobe is more matter of fact, no beating around the bush, looking for laughs.
We all know what happened in the end here in the City of Angels…Kobe’s rape charge, Shaq supposedly didn’t call to lend his support, Kobe outed Shaq as being a philanderer, Kobe calling Shaq fat and lazy, Karl Malone supposedly hitting on Kobe’s wife. All of this ending with Kobe threatening to play for the Clippers. The Clippers? That’s what I said. Shaq demands a trade. Kobe supposedly says, I’M NOT PLAYING HERE IF ‘FAT BAZSTARD IS HERE. Shaq is traded. And we all HATE Kobe. Was this fair? Probably not. I admit that I hated on the Lakers the year after Shaq left and when they didn’t make the finals I thought, THAT’S WHAT YOU GET.
Shaq is now in Miami and he promises to bring a championship to Miami and lo and behold FAT BAZTARD delivered. WTF! Did everyone notice that FAT BAZTARD actually showed up to camp in shape. Before that time when was the last time FAT BAZTARD showed up to camp in shape? This pissed me off. During this time, Shaq talked smack about everyone he could in the Lakers organization. To him Dr. Jerry Buss was satan reincarnate. We all know what he said about Kobe. The list goes on and on.
But come the next year, guess who shows up to camp fat and out of shape, yep you guessed it, FAT BAZTARD. FAT BAZTARD struggled to stay on the floor because he battled injuries missing a lot of time. But Dwayne “My mouth looks like a patsy” Wade, willed them into the playoffs. We all know what happened last year. Shaq is playing his usual role, that of FAT BAZTARD, Dwayne Wade is hurting and they are bounced from the playoffs by the upstart Chicago Bulls.
Usher in the 2007/2008 season and Shaq is hurt, going through a messy divorce, oh yeah, he is still FAT BAZTARD. Shaq’s skills are rapidly declining. Dwayne Wade is still hurting and the Miami Heat really sucks. Shaq is traded and guess what. FAT BAZTARD is talking smack about old teammates and coaches. WTF! As is customary with Shaq, he compares his new digs with his old digs and tears down where he just came from. Now we see Shaq running the floor full speed, diving over chairs, taking out small children in the process. The Suns need to look at his track record and tread lightly. It is only a matter of time that this over paid FAT BAZTARD turns on you too. How does the old adage go, FOOL ME ONCE, SHAME ON YOU. FOOL ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.
It is all Shaq’s, I mean FAT BAZTARD’S fault.

Nice post, Stephanie. I agree about Shaq's inability to take responsibility for his actions. He's a big baby. But Kobe is no saint either. Don't lose sight of the fact that Kobe ripped Dr. Buss and Kupchak last summer and called them "idiots." Kobe is just as big a Diva as Shaq. Both have enormous egos and both have child-like maturity. I will say this though. Shaq seems like he's never grown up and Kobe is turning the corner. I give Kobe credit for becoming a better leader and teammate and is making an effort in rehabilitating his image.
Yeah, I remember when the Lakers traded Shaq - I actually thought it was a big mistake and thought they should have gotten rid of Kobe. But I agree Shaq is a big baby.
But Buss and Kupchak got it right - Kobe was still young and on the way up while Shaq was over the hill. I don't think it was anything more than that. If their ages had been reversed they would have dumped Kobe instead.
