After watching the Lakers get ransacked, raped, humiliated and emabarassed in the NBA Finals, Los Angeles Laker fans were left to ponder one thing this offseason....

 Whats next?

 The Lakers have been flirting with the idea of trading for Ron Artest for the past few weeks and the name I hear thrown around a lot is Lamar. After Lamar refused to show up in the NBA Finals Laker fans were simply fustarted with Lamar, including myself. Lamar has always been hammered for his inconsistency, but this year was by far his best all around year. Lamar had his best numbers as a Laker this year and it seemed as if he got better once Pau arrived. Before the Finals started I thought Lamar would be the Lakers key factor but it turned out he laid an egg and left Kobe and Pau out to dry. So the questions remians. Do you leave Lamar out to dry becase of one poor series or is thier another move to be made?

You know when you go to the Park to play ball with your boy and you look to pick up the three best players waiting so you could have the best team and stay on the court for as long as possible?

 Thats kind of the way I see this years USA mens basketball team. I guess thats how the USA team is every year; a bunch of guys put together at the last minute and than thrown out on a court hoping that they will win as many games as possible. Ok fine fine your right the USA team does throw in a few practices before they hit up some interntional bball. And o yeah they have Kobe this year so that means their forsure going to win the gold and roll over the competetion like back in the day with Mike and Magic right? Wrong......

This years USA team, sadly to say will not have a cake walk over anyone and let alone may even lose. Here are a few reasons why.

Wow, wow, and wow. Those are the only three words I have to say after watching the MLB all star game the other night.

To me, that was the best All Star game I have ever seen. There was great pitching, great hitting, and some really good fielding. The game, which was featured in one of the greatest cities in the world, in one of the most historic ball parks, had everything to offer. With guys like Miguel Tejada playing short stop like Derek Jeter, J.D. Drew hitting like Mickey Mantle, and a guy named Nate Mclouth playing center like Willie Mays, this game was nothing short of spectacular. The only thing missing was the babe himself and maybe a slice of some apple pie.

Which left me to question why so many people the following day were complaining about the game. I heard complaints from friends, co-workers and various sports websites that the game was to long and therefore was not that great. Question? Is it not only fitting that a game, an important game at that, in Yankee stadium goes to extra innings? I mean if the camera man doesn't point his camera at the time on the score board than it wasn't a great game in Yankee stadium. Which leaves me to another question; why did so many fans leave? Work? Since when did Yankee fans care about leaving a great game to wake up early for work the next day? Guess they all most not have been Yankee fans.
