Duncan, Shaq, and Kobe all have 4 NBA titles.  Dont' think all 3 of em dont know that.  They all want a 5th very badly.  Who's going to get it first?  Well, it depends on a couple things.  I think if the Shaq to Cleveland deal goes down, then Shaq will get #5 before the other 2.  If it doesn't, then

These effin' (s)La(c)kers are getting on my nerves. 40 pt. winning landslide followed by Kobe and the Anemia Drips. As the coach noted, Jekyll-Hyde. Question: Who's the winner, Killer Hyde, or Mild Doc Jekyll? One of those bad means good, good means bad conundrums.

; I love you dearly, Trevor, but your excessive travelling is hurting the team!

I'm hoping Kobe doesn't take it upon himself to "outdo" Lebron.  He's been better about that stuff, but it does flare up.  Lebron is playing out of this world.

I keep waking up with only one sock on, despite the fact that I go to bed with two. It isn’t until later in the day when I remember that I had a dream, or better yet a nightmare. It’s a relatively common dream in that I am being chased by something. As the dream becomes clearer I remember that he is indeed a someone, not a something that chases my dormant body out of it's socks.

Paul Pierce v. Kobe Bryant. Period. These two will be lighting up the scoreboard the whole series. Expect to see a couple of 40 point games. However this series is not just about the scorers. It will be about "Team". The Celtics as a team are great especially defensively. They will need to stop

Anybody who watched the Lakers-Spurs series can tell you about the plethora of missed calls on Kobe, especially in game 5. While kobe has been known to complain, he was hit plenty of times with no call. And I know what you're going to say, so stop. The end of game 4 was a perfect no call. Refs don't decide games, especially when Brent Barry is 5 feet outside of the 3 point line. Get a better shot.

that the Spurs were parading to the free throw line for the first three quarters to the chagrin of Kobe Bryant, who attempted 29 field goals and didn’t get fouled.  This is an amazing feat in itself.

Anthony Carter…I can’t believe he is still in the league. He complained that Kobe elbowed him in the face but wouldn’t acknowledge that he is to blame. The first step is accepting responsibility. What about JR Smith? He has tons of talent but too much attitude and well, I just think he is plain stupid. Let’s breatk it down. Why in the world would you want to jaw with someone who could totally go off offensively and deliver facials on each and every play? JR Smith doesn’t/didn’t seem to care. Look at what happened to Kenyon Martin. He jawed and jawed and what happened.

ificant (though gradually assigned) playing time.

As it stands, amplified fan affirmation goes to Kobe, Pau, Lamar, D-Fish, Vlade, Sascha, Luke, Jordan, Rony, and the entire Lakers squad. Oh yeah, while we're at it, let's hope the perpetually hard-luck injured Chris Mihm is able to contribute.

None of our guards are capable of staying in front of anybody right now, not even Kobe. To make matters worse we have no real shot blocking presence in the middle. Don't get me wrong Ronny is playing amazing, but he is a better shot blocker on the ball. Both Andrew and Mihm are much better help side blockers.

Plus, with them out Kobe had clearly been forcing the issue. His assist are down, his shots are way up, and his shooting percentage is way down. He looked so comfortable with Gasol and clearly the whole team was flowing better. Clearly we need atleast Gasol back to make a deep run, and probably Bynum to win it all.Our Defense needs help: Almost every other team in the West has a truly dominate point guard: Jason Kidd, Deron Williams, Chris Paul, Baron Davis, and Allan Iverson just to name a few. The biggest problem we are having is dribble penetration. Whenever Fisher or Farmar try to man up they end up fouling. This was looked over before because you had either Bynum or Gasol with Odom to clog up the paint. With them out it is being exploited by every good team we play. We will have to sure this up, along with getting the big guys back, to go deep in the playoffs.

The Lakers' rapturous Kobe-powered 121-101 win over the Raptors was no doubt fueled by the trade made for Pau Gasol -- aptly-named. With rock-steady veteran AND current season avgs. of 19 pts. and 9 rebounds, he is precisely the pow and gas the Lakers need to fill the void left by the injured absence of the newly-emergent Andrew Bynum.

HER cover for the emergent young homegrown star Bynum, lately down in the knee?

One hates it when Kobe has to take the team back on his shoulders, when his quota's 50 instead of 30, since the last anybody checked, it was a team sport. S'up with those other guys? I guess it's a rhythm thing when there's a new Robert Parrish in the hole, and he goes down.

With trade talks, internal fighting, management problems and trying to keep Kobe, the Lakers organization has had its hands full. Even with the recent acquisition of Derek Fisher, the spark did not initially go off. Initially. This was until Andrew Bynum, the 20 year-old phenom, woke up from from his youthful slumber and occassional flashes of brilliance, and started playing some man-sized basketball, regularly posting double-doubles and averaging around twenty a game (not to mention, they have won seven in a row, to this point). It is difficult to predict where and when talent will bud in the NBA, even stars dim when they get into 'the show'. However, Bynum is proving himself a worthy acquisition, especially at the all important center position. And we all know what happens when
