Cavs

in Game 7 at home? Probably.

Should they have been able to close out Houston tonight? Yeah.

The Cavs sweeping cakewalk through two rounds is both a tribute to improved LeBron and team play, but also an indicator that only Boston or Orlando can really challenge them.

ng that the maiden voyage of this blog be the same day as a marquee matchup, the Lakers against the Cavs.  It is a homegame for the Lakeshow, but the Lakers have lost two straight.  This is a big game.  A victory will make their prior two losses meaningless, but a loss could send them into a Celtics-esque tailspin.  The Lakers lost those last two games to other top-tier teams, the Spurs and the Magic.  They were both very winnable, decided in the last minute of the game.  Those are heartbreakers.  If the Lakers hope to win, they need Pau on top of his game, Bynum to man-up (I'm having frightening visions of LeBron slicing through the lane like a knife through butter), and someone else (Fish, Trevor, Sasha, Lamar, i.e.) has to step up.  For God's sake, Trevor, stop walking with the ball!  I love you dearly, Trevor, but your excessive travelling is hurting the team!

I have an idea for tonight's game between the Lakers and the Cavs, instead of spending all night comparing Kobe and LeBron, let's just sit back and enjoy watching the two best players in the NB

Well after a rough computer transition I am finally back. I'll start with last nights game against the Pacers. It was a defensive battle... not so much, the score was 68-66 at halftime. The Lakers end

ut the effin' lowly Hawks away do they not understand? Pistons struggled, but overcame Sixers in 6. Cavs offed the Wizards in 6. Orlando, echoing their great center Dwight Howard, is lookin' like the true "Beast of the East."

opsided victory the Knicks have had probably in the Post-Patrick Ewing era, the Knicks trounced the Cavs 108 to 90! Damn near twenty points -- and what was really interesting mourning Stephon Marburry did NOT play (still battle back the tears from the loss of his father, Donald, again my condolences -- losing one's dad sucks!)

is in doubt and must be reassessed.

This is the Knicks most lopside W of the season, beating the Cavs by 18 points! Have Knicks even been up by more than 10 on any opponent ALL YEAR? Possibly, but I can't recall. Zeke has been on the hot-seat for a long time, and it culminated with fans carrying a huge placard outside of MSG emploring Knicks' owner James Dolan to oust old boy. For some inexplicable reason Dolan is keeping Zeke at the reins -- maybe there's some blackmail scheme that Zeke has over Dolan that keeps him employed, or maybe it has to do with a back-room deal done surrounding that sexual harassment case.

So King James and his ailing Cavs defeat the Bucks in OT last night. I'm surprised that the Cavs needed the 2nd extra period to eek out a win... the sad thing is, whenever I see the Bucks play against the Cleveland Cavaliers I have a series of "what might have been" thoughts cascading into my head. Why? Because Michael Redd should be playing alongside LeBron. But for some reason, the
