Comparing Magic to Jordan

Michael Jordan is no doubt the greatest player to ever grace the courts. He is great not because of what he accomplished. He accomplished what he did because he was great. Robert Horry has as many rings. Big shot Rob is clutch at times and a good player but by no means the greatest. He happened to be on good teams and make a good contribution. But Jordan was great and accomplished all that he did. Jordan elevated the game to a whole new level that it has never been elevated to before. He did things that only Superman could do. Then there is Magic. The 6'10" point guard that has eyes in every part of his head, allowing him to have the best court vision ever and be the best passer the game has ever seen. Magic cannot be overlooked as the greatest player ever right along with Jordan. Magic scored his career high playing center while Kareem Abdul Jabbar was on the IL. In my opinion that is an amazing feat for both of those things. First a six foot ten point guard was unheard of, second he played center when he was a point guard. I honestly believe that Jordan was amazing, however he couldn't have played center against the likes of Shaquille Oneal, Moses Malone, David Robinson, or Dikembe Mutumbo and been successful. Jordan was successful because of the way that he played and he did what he was good at, which is being a scorer. Magic was great because of his versatility. He could play every position on the field successfully and do it just as good if not better that the player that he was playing against. Magic Johnson should always be recognized as the greatest player due to being the most versatile player. He could play the 1,2,3,4, or 5. I don't know of any player that has that kind of versatility to do that successfully.
