My prediction for the Lakers- they will suck again (for eight weeks). The Lakers will fumble, crack, and stumble through some tough games and become the Lakers of old (2007). This is because their main man (not Kobe) is missing. Mr. Andrew Bynum. Kwame Brown is no substitute for the young Bynum and we have the numbers from yesterday's game against Phoenix to prove it. Kwame had more turn overs than points, and the fans booed him on home turf for the first time in Lakers history. That's right ladies and gentlemen, a Laker player was booed at home for the first time in Phil Jackson's supple memory. But it was more than that. The Lakers just looked out of sync last night, out of rotation, the triangle was not working without its main ingredient. Moreover, they showed just how shallow their bench is, when they need it most. My short term prediction is that the Lakers will lose Monday's game as well against Portland, and that they will return to their .500 record. Let's hope for better times again.
